Magnus Nilsson

Come and see Magnus Nilsson speak this weekend

He's at two events at the Abergavenny Food Festival - one with our Where Chefs Eat author, Joe Warwick

Fäviken's Magnus Nilsson is coming over to speak at the Abergavenny Food Festival this weekend (Saturday and Sunday 21 and 22 September). On Saturday he'll be in conversation with chef and BBC food presenter Valentine Warner. Valentine has described Magnus - rather aptly we feel - as ‘one of the world’s truly original chefs.’ They know each other well and have hunted together in the UK and Sweden. Their talk, entitled ‘The Restaurant at the End of the Universe’, takes place this Saturday (21 September) at the Borough Theatre between 2 and 3pm. Tickets cost £5.00 from the festival's website.

Magnus will also be in conversation the following day (Sunday 22) this time with Joe Warwick, author of our best selling Where Chefs Eat. Along with chef Shaun Hill they'll be talking about restaurant guides, food world stars, critics and crowd sourcing. That talk takes place between 2pm and 2.45pm at Lion’s Place. Tickets once again are £5.00 here

You can read a great Where Chefs Eat interview with Joe here, buy Where Chefs Eat here and check out our signed editions of Fäviken here. Meanwhile, if you can't make it to Abergavenny you can listen to Valentine talking to Magnus on the BBC's Food Programme earlier this year. Part one is here  and part two is here.
